TampaMystic sits down w/ Trae Beanz for an exclusive interview!

1. What’s going on? Please introduce yourself to THE GRYND REPORT and tell us where you’re from.
I am R&B Street recording artist Trae Beanz, also singer songwriter. I’m CMO of @TreasureMktg President of Pmrperfectmusic & CEO of GA 229 Ent

2. When did you start singing and who or what inspired you?
Ny entire Hammock side of the family sings including my Mom. And my Dad is a gospel recording artist. But I was super shy about singing so I started rapping at the age of five. And didn’t sing until I was twelve years old at my 7th grade spring concert. And from then on I was addicted to music. I’ve been inspired by so many but it’s kinda crazy. When I fell in love with R&B and just singing. Dru Hill H Town The King Of R&B Street music R Kelly and a list of others influenced me. But the way I grew up and my environment I loved NWA I loved Juvenile Turk The HotBoys. And that’s a little bit of how rnbstreetmusic was inspired as well.

3. With so many independent artists out here what makes you different & sets you apart?
Most of all Gods personal blessing and what I mean by that is. I wasn’t taught any of this it was a gift. I shouldn’t have to say much more after that but I will elaborate lol. After truly realizing that I was first discovered by the guy who discovered Mary J Blige Jodeci and Sean Diddy Combs. Only to be pulled out of school and my groups entire family and management being hit with a fraud from this same guy. From that point on I acquired a sense of business about myself and understood early it was 10% talent 90% entertainment business. Coupled with I’m from the south so you get that southern churchy sound but when people meet or hear me they automatically ask if I am from Atlanta or the dirty south. And I have to tell them that the A isn’t the south part of Georgia it’s just the muscle. But when you think of the sound of music in Atlanta you think of Tip Jeezy Migos 2chainz and a list of others. But just like you hear their lingo or diction it represents where they are from. But if you went a few hours away to Savannah Georgia. You would hear a totally different sound of music some dance sounds and trap music just like Atl but the lingo annunciation and slang are similar but totally different. And you still haven’t left Georgia yet. With that being said in the 229 which is south west Georgia Tifton to be exact. We are country but we are introduce to things of the world from the city of Atlanta which is only 2 1/2 hours north. One of my favorite groups Field Mobb gave you all a taste of what we have to offer as far as different sound of music lingo and just a different style. But you were still in Georgia right lol. So when you hear me you hear the closest thing to R Kelly but with my own distinguished style and sound. Rhythmic soul with the street edge.

4. Tell us something you enjoy doing [besides music]that most people don’t know.
I just love to be around universal people. All races all sizes just good people and not just industry people. I’m the only child so I know how to have my me time and when I’m not I just love positive energy.

5. Currently, what project or single are you working on or pushing & where can we find it?
I just released my first professional independent release under my new umbrella and my team. But it’s entitled #911EmergeNSee produced by Raw Traxx released on @TreasureMktg @PmrPerfectMusic @GA229Ent and it’s available on any digital downloading site invented to man lol. Nah but iTunes Amazon Apple Music etc

6. What’s been the most memorable moment so far in your music career?
That’s a have one from making it as the Atl rep for @iamdiddy developing show or interviewing over 3k people on behalf of Fox and the American Idol auditions

7. If you could work with any artist, (current or past) who would it be and why?
Damn that’s hard because I’m a fan of greatness. Let’s make this interesting. Jermaine Durpi because we are soooo similar and I just get him and know we would make that what he did with so many artist. Notice I said with and not for as far as me now lol. Adam LaVine of Maroon 5. He’s a smart writer and dope vocalist and the pop crossover records or should I say crossover sounding produced records that normally take you to that next level. A&r wise and spirt we just fit. While I’m on my white homeboys John Mayor. I know we would create some heart felt music for the soul. R Kelly of course and because I’m the next to his legacy. Tip Future Drake Jeezy and soooooo many rappers. From my up bringing and to listen to their stories I relate to them. rnbstreetmusic is design for when every rapper that hears it. They will want a verse and I bet when any of those names mentioned hear my shit and feel my spirt & energy. They gone say he next and I got cha!

8. What are your goals musically for 2016?
Crazy thing is I set them in June of 2015 so they are already unfolding alreadyvwhich is such a blessing Christmas present New Years and kwanzaa present lo. But to release a single in the first quarter surrounded by a merchandising deal with #911EmergeNSee with some business partners was the first part. I also have another merchandising & single song distribution situation structured with another business partner and staple in my community for over twenty years. For a song I create for The Duke Blue Devils and my hometown Tift Co Blue Devils. Also if all of the dots connect it’s a hush hush for now thing. But there may be a national high school talent competition with a lets say. A Georgia NBA team lol. With all marketing done by @TreasureMktg

9. What’s your definition of Grynd?
That when you sick you still out here that when you locked up in prison a co end up producing two tracks on your first mixtape just because the whole camp and others know I’m next. That take two brands Pmrperfectmusic & TreasureMktg with no major budget. And for God to create a supply and demand enuff for us to have to move from Albany Ga to Atlanta. And to be received winning awards building relationships memories and making money. All while still going hard and keeping God first. #Grynd
