Mykeah – Honey

Rising pop star prepares to launch new singles ‘Honey’ and ‘Hold Up’

FREDRICKSBURG, VA – Mykeah Deline Vann is an American singer, song writer, lyricist, pop artist, entrepreneur and investor. She is the total package when it comes to entertainment. That’s quite a feat for someone who is only 20 years old, but even at a young age this rising star is making a name for herself – and a new single and forthcoming project are both set to skyrocket her into the spotlight on a national scale.

Born and raised in Locust Grove, Virginia, Mykeah has performed at venues such as South by Southwest, Smoke Fest in Medford, Oregon, and at locales in Seattle, New York City, Virginia, Washington D.C., Southern California and more. Her music can be found on iHeart Radio, Spotify, YouTube and Tidal. And of that music, she’s already had the opportunity to collaborate with big names, such as Father MC, E Smithy, and producer Dame Grease. She is currently the first female pop artist for Get Mo Music and Vacant Lot Records.

“I’m all original,” she said. “I can’t be copied. My style is different. It’s something that hasn’t been heard. I want my music to be timeless and to go on for years.”

Most recently, Mykeah worked with Dame Grease on a single called “Honey.” It’s a pop and R&B fusion that will be released on Oct. 9, and it features fellow artist Sonny Whether. It’s a song that Mykeah said is about love and women who are always chased by men because they have the “honey.”

“I write about love a lot, as well as happiness and relationships,” she said. “When I grew up I watched ‘Hannah Montana’ a lot, and I really respect people like Ariana Grande. That’s what I want to do with my music and the kind of reputation I want to represent.”

Mykeah said she’ll follow up “Honey” with another single called “Hold Up” on Nov. 9. That single will feature the Coke Boyz – Coke Boy Droop Pop and Coke Boy Brock – and will once again be in collaboration with the legendary producer Dame Grease. That song will have more of a “hood” vibe with a street edge, Mykeah said – though her vocals and style give it the pop feel that she has become known for.

All of this work will lead toward a full album that she’s hoping to drop in mid-2019 – a totally pop album that will perfect capture her dreams of becoming a pop mogul.
