What’s going on? Please introduce yourself and tell us where you’re from?

My name is Tracia Jones, I’m 22 from Birmingham, Alabama!

How long have you been modeling and what motivated you to start?

I’ve been modeling for 2 years now. How I got started was unexpected. I went to a fashion show 2 years ago in Atlanta and one of the designers was short a model and saw me and asked me if I model and I was like no. Then she said well you do today! So I modeled for her. It was my first time so of course I didn’t really know how to walk but I loved being up on runway and infront of the cameras. Ever since then I just been grinding!

What do you prefer inside shoots or outside shoots and why?

I like both. Usually at a shoot I’ll shoot some inside and some outside just so I can have more looks. Shooting outside is fun because you’re not limited on space and you can use anything as a prop.

What is your definition of Grynd?

My definition of Grynd is no days off, you have to work for what you want. Nothing comes easy.

One of the main topics in being successful is BRANDING yourself. How important is this in the modeling world?

Branding is the most important thing! Your brand is you so you have to make sure that you’re branding yourself where ever you go and do it in a positive way so people will remember you. Leave your mark!

In your experience what are some of the common mistakes you see in up and coming models?

A common mistake I see is that models aren’t as confident as they should be. This is a tough game to play and if you have thin skin they will chew you out. Always have confidence and keep your head up high!

What type of music do you perfer and what do you think about music now vs when you were coming up?

I like R&B and Rap music. Music has changed so much, it’s like you don’t even have to make sense now a days to be a rapper. It’s crazy.

What’s next for you outside of modeling?

Now I’ve become a radio personality on an online radio station called 99.9 The Plug FM! I’m on every Tuesday & Thursday from 7-9pm so check me out! www.999theplug.com

What advice would you give to anyone looking into this business?

Like I mentioned before its all about your confidence and it does show! It’s all about your look so make sure you eat right and keep that body tight!

Any SHOUTOUTS? Where can we find you online?

I want to shoutout God first because he had made all of this possible, my family, my plug radio family, and everybody that’s been supporting me since day 1!
