Plugged In Feature: Lucky Lefty of Black Bank Music Group

 

Known as Lucky Lefty, this Harlem native is the CEO of Black Bank Music Group which is a collective of creative minds seeking to blaze a trail in Hip Hop that will lead to a legacy of quality music and business ventures that preserve the greatness of the culture.  A serial entrepreneur as well as an independent artist looking forward to sharing his pain and triumphs with the world, Lucky Lefty has dedicated the past two decades of his life to the music and the art.

 

“I’ve been in the industry for  sixteen years wearing many different hats. I was invited to take part as an executive with an independent label and took the opportunity to use my knowledge and understanding. I always mention my pure love for the art of music, especially Hip Hop.” 

 

A student of iconic entities, Lucky Lefty claims the influence of Anita Baker, Luther Vandross,  Teddy Pendergrass, Whitney Houston, Green Day, Lincoln Park, and the Jackson 5.

 

“I felt I needed to be apart of that greatness.  To open another intricate door for others to display their level of creativity.”

 

His resume to date includes work with the likes Dipset, Twan Da Dude, Chips Da General, Disco Black, Charlee C, Easy The Mogul, Neek Bucks, Matt Calico, Brittany Taylor to name a few. Aside from artists he has been involved on the production side in films like Killa Season and Paper Soldiers. His present focus is the release of his Boarding Pass mixtape which is the next installment of his Passport series.

 

“My ultimate goal is for the world to recognize me as being thee greatest and to bring as many of my people out of poverty where they can continue the cycle of building for those after them.”
